Terms and Conditions

Introduction

As a user of the website, you accept that any aspect of the website including any transactions you make is subject to the terms and conditions outlined below. Carriage Diamonds advise you to read these terms and conditions including the privacy statement below as use of the website will signify your acceptance of them.

Carriage Diamonds reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect from when they are posted on the website. Carriage Diamonds advise you to visit the terms and conditions every time you visit the website to view any possible changes.

Orders

1.1   All orders placed through the website will be accordance with these terms and conditions.

1.2   Once an order has been placed successfully, an ‘Order Confirmation’ e-mail will be sent to you via e-mail detailing the items you have purchased.

Delivery

2.1 All the products currently have free shipping to anywhere within the UK. Delivery to outside the UK may be charged.

2.2 Carriage Diamonds will endeavour to send all orders within 5 working days of receiving your order unless your item is a bespoke piece of jewellery. Whilst Carriage Diamonds will make every effort to send an order out on time, occasionally due to unforeseen circumstances delivery may be delayed. Carriage Diamonds hold no liability for any delay or failure to deliver an item as originally scheduled.

2.3 All orders delivered within the UK will be sent by Special Delivery Registered Post, which is guaranteed and insured to arrive by next day delivery.

2.4 The delivery agent will be Royal Mail. Any deliveries outside the UK will be sent by FedEx or Royal Mail International Delivery.

2.5 If the items received are not as specified on your ‘Order Confirmation’ or indeed damaged please notify Carriage Diamonds immediately either by phone or e-mail. On returning the items, please return by Special Delivery Registered Post to the following address:- DRC, Suite 20, 63-66 Hatton Garden, London, EC1N 8LE. Carriage Diamonds accept no liability if they are not notified within 14 days of delivery.

2.6 Any loss or damage occurred to the item after the date it has been received is passed to you.

2.7 Orders may be collected at the offices, providing proof of identify can be provided on pick-up.

2.8 Your items will be delivered to the address you have specified on your Order Confirmation when placing the order.

2.9 If you made payment by credit or debit card, your items will be delivered to the address registered to your card you made payment with. If you have specified for the item to be delivered to a different address, we will ask for additional documentation of proof of identity such as a utility bill. A mobile phone bill will not be accepted.

2.10 All items remain the property of Carriage Diamonds until all monies have been paid.

Order Process

3.1 On placing an order, Carriage Diamonds will verify the details you have submitted with a ID verification organization to check for fraud purposes. It is therefore imperative that you submit the correct details.

3.2 Once details have been verified (see 3.1), Carriage Diamonds will take payment from the card details you have submitted.

3.3 Orders are subject to availability. If however your item is out of stock, Carriage Diamonds will contact you directly to either offer a replacement or offer a full refund if payment has been already collected.

3.4 Carriage Diamonds offer complete transparency throughout. The price displayed on the website at the time of your order is what you pay. Carriage Diamonds ensure steps are taken to ensure all prices all the website are correct and updated, however errors do sometimes occur. If such an error occurs and Carriage Diamonds realise once your order has been placed, they will contact you as soon as possible. Carriage Diamonds will offer you the choice of reconfirming your order at the correct price, or cancelling the order and therefore receiving a full refund if payment has been already collected. If Carriage Diamonds are unable to contact you, they will cancel your order and return any monies received.

3.5 All prices include VAT at the current applicable rate.

3.6 Carriage Diamonds may decide at their discretion to cancel your order in which case they will return any monies received from you, within 30 days of receipt to the account they were received from.

3.7 You agree that in any event Carriage Diamonds shall have no liability to you for any damage, costs, loss or expenses which you may incur.

Sizings

4.1 You will be able to select your specified finger size in the Checkout. If the finger size is unknown, please select ‘stock size’ and have the ring re-sized after the proposal, free of charge. If you have already specified a ring size with your initial order and this turns out to be incorrect, Carriage Diamonds can re-size the ring at a cost of £40 including VAT.

4.2 All full eternity wedding rings cannot be sized at any cost so please ensure you order the correct size.

Returns

5.1 Carriage Diamonds offer a full refund within 30 days of delivery without ANY QUESTIONS ASKED. The returns policy is restricted to any items of the following: a) which have been custom made as part of the bespoke service, b) to all items where the diamond is priced above £12,000 excluding VAT, c) which have been engraved personally for you. If however the items turn out to be faulty, damaged or not as specified on your order, Carriage Diamonds will either rectify the problem or provide a full refund.

5.2 Any returns of any orders will be completed only when the item is returned and received in its original condition, unworn and together with its original packaging, documentation and any certificates where applicable.

5.3 All returns are subject to confirmation and verification by Carriage Diamonds team.

5.4 For Health and Safety and Hygiene Purposes, earrings will not be considered for return for a refund.

5.5 Carriage Diamonds will not be responsible for any damage or loss of any return orders. Carriage Diamonds cannot be held liable for any loss or damage may be incurred as a result of your return, cancellation or late delivery.

5.6 Carriage Diamonds items have a two year warranty guaranteed against any faults in their manufacturing. This warranty does not apply to items subjected to excessive wear, abuse or physical damage whether accidental or otherwise. Upon acceptance of delivery, the insurance and care of the goods becomes the sole responsibility of the customer and Carriage Diamonds shall not be held liable for any loss, theft or damages that may occur.

5.7 If the item of jewellery has been interfered with or altered by you, a third party or another jewellery, the two year warranty and the return policy will cease to apply, and the item becomes non-refundable and non-returnable.

5.8 Free resizing only applies to purchases that have specified that they "do not know their ring size" at the checkout stage. If an order is placed online with selected size and that size is incorrect, then the resize will be chargeable.

Privacy Policy

6.1 Carriage Diamonds are committed to protecting your privacy. All of your personal information will be kept private and secure. Carriage Diamonds does not store any of your personal information on the site. Carriage Diamonds do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to any parties.

Changes

7.1 Carriage Diamonds reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect from when they are posted on the website. Carriage Diamonds advise you to visit these terms and conditions every time you visit the website to view any possible changes.

Competitions, Giveaways and Prizes

8.1 Carriage Diamonds reserve the right to change the competition winners at their discretion.

8.2 Participants that do not follow all of the rules are not permitted to win the prize in play.

8.3 For items that need to be resized, there will be a charge. Free resizing is only permitted for those who are purchasing a piece of jewellery.
